Somersault Pike Film

Somersault Pike is the latest film by Australian filmmaker Kate Lefoe, and an official selection of the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival. We were commissioned to design the official poster.

Synopsis: Dark fears and high hopes drive a young competitive diver as she faces the 10-metre platform.

The poster captures the essence of the film, translating its tension and ambiguity into a memorable design through a strong focus on symbolism and storytelling.

“It was an absolute delight to work with Vertigo. Showing a thorough understanding and appreciation of art house cinema combined with the aesthetics of my film, Mirella and Nicolas were able to capture Somersault Pike's essence in a bold and memorable poster. They were a pleasure to work with due to their excellent communication skills and always a timely delivery.”
